BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1996, Antoine Dutaillis is a French conductor and pianist.
During the 2024/25 season, he will make his debuts as guest conductor with Orchestre de Picardie, Orchestre National de Lille and Orchestre de Cannes.
Still for the 24/25 season, in the lyrical field, he joins the Young Artists Program of the Opera de Paris, taking part in numerous concerts and opera productions. He will also join the Young Artist program of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence as a pianist and vocal coach.
He participated in the musical direction of Emmanuel Courcol’s movie « En Fanfare » (released in November 24, more than 2 millions tickets).
Since 2023, he owns a position of pianist accompanist at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where he studied.
He studied conducting with Alain Altinoglu and completed in 2022 a Master’s degree (with highest honors). In addition of his main course, he benefited from advices of well-known conductors such as Peter Eötvös, Lawrence Foster, Mikko Franck, Nicolas Pasquet, Bertrand de Billy, David Reiland, Arie Van Beek and Pascal Rophé.
He also graduated with Master’s degrees (all with highest honors) in Vocal Coaching (Erika Guiomar), Piano Accompaniment (Jean-Frédéric Neuburger) and Composition (Thierry Escaich, Jean-François Zygel), as well as diplomas in Orchestration and Analysis.
He was semi-finalist of the Siemens-Hallé International Conducting Competition and was named « Musician of the month » by the HVUSoundMovement review.
He has already conducted numerous orchestras in France and abroad : Ensemble Intercontemporain, Hallé Orchestra (Manchester), Netherlands Philharmonic (Amsterdam), North Hungary Symphonic Orchestra (Miskolc), Silesian Philharmonic (Katowice), Orchestre National de Metz, Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Orchestre de Picardie, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Marseille, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Nancy.
In the symphonic field, he was assistant conductor to Alexandre Bloch (Orchestre National de Lille), Alain Altinoglu (La Monnaie, Bruxelles), Semyon Bychkov (Choeur et Orchestre de Paris), Michael Schønwandt (Orchestre Français des Jeunes), Laurence Equilbey (Insula and Accentus). In the operatic field, he was assistant conductor to Alexander Briger (Britten’s Turn of the Screw, coproduction Philharmonie de Paris). He also conducted a concert version of The Magic Flute (Valenciennes).
He has been frequently working with theater and cinema. Since 2015, he has been taking part in numerous shows as a pianist and arranger for the Hall de la Chanson (CDN) with actors-singers from the CNSAD.
Eager to share music with younger and different audiences, he led a choir of 350 high-schoolers at the Zenith de Paris. He also conducted soloists of the Opera de Paris Orchestra in a partnership with a community choir for the premiere recording of Thierry Escaich’s Ballade (3e Scène).
Since September 2023, he has been in charge of a "DEMOS" Orchestra (a Social Music and orchestral education programme launched by Paris Philharmonie with children from disadvantaged neighborhoods) in Metz (France).

Né en 1996, Antoine Dutaillis est un chef d’orchestre et pianiste français.
Au cours de la saison 2024-25, il fait ses débuts comme chef d'orchestre invité par l'Orchestre de Picardie, l'Orchestre National de Lille, l'Orchestre National de Cannes.
Cette même saison, dans le domaine lyrique, il rejoint l'Académie de l'Opéra de Paris où il participe à de nombreux concerts et productions. Ainsi que l'Académie du Festival d'Aix-en-Provence,
comme pianiste chef de chant.
Il a participé à la direction musicale du film d'Emmanuel Courcol, En Fanfare (sorti novembre 2024, plus de deux millions d'entrées).
Il occupe, depuis 2023, un poste du pianiste accompagnateur au Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) où il a étudié.
Il s'est formé dans la classe d'Alain Altinoglu où il a obtenu, en 2022, un Master de Direction d’orchestre (mention TB à l’unanimité). Il a complété sa formation en profitant des conseils de
Peter Eötvös, Lawrence Foster, Mikko Franck, Nicolas Pasquet, Bertrand de Billy, David Reiland, Arie Van Beek, Pascal Rophé.
Musicien complet, il est titulaire de trois autres Masters du CNSMDP, tous avec mention TB en Direction de Chant (Erika Guiomar), Accompagnement piano (Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, Reiko Hozu) et
Écriture (Thierry Escaich, Jean-François Zygel), ainsi que des Prix d’Orchestration et d’Analyse.
Il a été demi-finaliste du Concours International de Direction Siemens-Hallé et a été nommé "Musicien du mois" par la revue HVUSoundMovement.
Il a déjà eu l'occasion de diriger de nombreux orchestres, en France et à l’étranger, tels que l'Ensemble Intercontemporain, Hallé Orchestra (Manchester), Netherlands Philharmonic (Amsterdam),
North Hungary Symphonic Orchestra (Miskolc), Silesian Philharmonic (Katowice), Orchestre National de Metz, Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg,
Orchestre de l’Opéra de Marseille, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Nancy.
Dans le domaine symphonique, il a été chef assistant d’Alexandre Bloch (Orchestre National de Lille), d'Alain Altinoglu (La Monnaie, Bruxelles), Semyon Bychkov (Chœur et Orchestre de Paris),
Michael Schønwandt (Orchestre Français des Jeunes) ou encore Laurence Equilbey (Accentus et Insula). Dans le domaine de l'opéra, il a assisté Alexander Briger (Le Tour d’écrou de Britten,
coproduction Philharmonie de Paris). Il a aussi dirigé une version de concert de La Flûte Enchantée (Valenciennes).
Il travaille fréquemment pour le théâtre ou le cinéma. Il a notamment participé à de nombreux spectacles comme pianiste et arrangeur pour le Hall de la Chanson (CDN) avec des comédiens-chanteurs
du CNSAD.
Désireux de partager l'amour de la musique avec des publics diversifiés, il a dirigé un chœur de 350 collégiens et lycéens d'Ile de France pour un concert au Zénith de Paris. Il a aussi dirigé
des musiciens de l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris avec un chœur amateur, issu de la diversité, pour la création d’une œuvre de Thierry Escaich (Ballade), diffusée sur « 3e Scène ».
Depuis la saison 2023-24, il dirige un orchestre Démos pour la région Grand-Est.
